Since our school and classroom libraries have books for many different reading and maturity levels, please make sure that you discuss with your family what, if any, books your family would deem inappropriate for you personally.
Families will disagree on the definition of the word “appropriate,” and I cannot guarantee that I have read every book on the shelves as we try to update our collections frequently. For reliable book reviews by parents and students, try visiting www.commonsensemedia.org.
Office Hours (Fridays between 1:30 and 2:30).
Office hours are for SPECIFIC skills you did not understand in the class.
You should not attend office hours simply because your Eng grade is low.
To sign up, come see Mr. E before Thursday (or before!)with a specific issue.
Example of a specific issue:
*"I do not understand how subject-verb agreement works".
*"I'm confused about how to find prepositional phrases in a sentence".
